What do you all think? I have the DVD. I just hope they include more deleted stuff and outtakes.

Is it out in the UK too.
That link was for the US release and Fox often region code for Bluray.

Even The Towering Inferno and the Bond discs were coded

I hope for the BluRay they let you choose which audio version you prefer. The US 25th anniversary DVD did but the UK DVD didn't. I'd much prefer to listen to the original mono recordings for the songs from the 1975 cinematic release rather than the 1990 re-recordings for video which were in stereo. The songs just don't sound right in their re-recorded form to me. Pity UK customers never got a choice but the US customers did. With BluRay having all that space, I'd like to think they included both for everyone this time.

Yeah but i have vinyl copies of the soundtrack which are in stereo too so there is natural stereo versions available, it just wasn't in stereo in cinemas.

I have a VHS recording from late night BBC TWO in stereo of the film which was in widescreen but featured the original stereo recordings. The songs sound great, just like they used to, but on the 25th Anniversary DVD they have been re-recorded and sound different, and the voice of Rocky singing has been completely re-dubbed with a different voice actor and it doesn't sound as good. I'd much rather have the original version, hence why I won't be buying this when it's released if it doesn't let you choose which audio you'd prefer.

Oh, and I notice it's supposed to be a whole new 4k/2k transfer from the negatives. I hope this means it's better than the HD version that was on Sky Movies not that long ago. It looked horrible for a HD version of the film.

A shame they couldn't have got Tim Curry involved.
