Could Lib Dem Tessa Munt be the Gisela Stuart of 2015?

Against all expectations in a tight marginal in Birmingham Edgbaston in 2010 Gisela survived and was reelected.

Could Liberal Democrat MP Tessa Munt pull of the same feat and defy expectations in her marginal seat this year and hold onto her seat?

She seems very popular at least locally which is what counts in a tough general election.

100/1 to win with Paddy Power, even worse odds than the Greens. Basically - no chance!

Does anyone know what odds Gisela Stuart was given in 2010?

    I'm confused

Do you have the odds please for both Tessa and Gisela for THIS year?

    Gisela odds - 100/1

    Sorry for the confusion.

Many Thanks --So it looks like Tessa may well survive in this highly marginal seat!

She is guaranteed the male teenage vote just because her name is rhyming slang !!

Ashcrofts poll had the Tories with a solid lead in Wells.

Maybe people like her locally - but do enough to save her very marginal seat given the drop in LD support since 2010 when she won by less than 1 per cent.

I am quite interested in the Chippenham seat - could Mr and Mrs Jo Swinson both suffer defeats on 7 May?

It may well be UKIP that saves Tessa in Wells - she seems decent enough.

I think she's one of the mps who played a role alongside Lisa Nandy in consistently pushing for and supporting a full inquiry into the historical child sex abuse cases. She's one Lib Dem who I'd like to keep their seat on election night.
