Thank goodness they didn't do this back then, retrospect is wonderful isn't it! After all, if that had been the case, we might have had no showable old episodes left! I imagine JK is back on the blacklist, after all the furore elsewhere, despite his BBC apology over his 1976 edit out.
JK is definitely NOT on the blacklist - Mark Thompson himself confirmed it when he was DG.
There was always something of a question mark over his conviction anyway.

You get crap in every year though.
It's interesting to take Top 40 charts and work out how many songs you like and compare them with now.
For example I like 12 songs in the Top 40 of this particular week in 1978.
In the current Top 40 of 2013 I can honestly say that there isn't a single song I like. {Skyfall perhaps comes the closest}
