I had the book when I was teenager no way did she say the f word. We thought we were really naughty when we sang greased lightning can you imagine what we would have been like if we had heard the f word?
I'm assuming the previously released videos & DVDs are uncut.
(Saw a Grease VHS in a charity shop in Coventry yesterday!)
On the plus side, at least you can get fairly clean copies of 'Summer Nights', 'You're The One That I Want' & 'Greased Lightning' for editing into your TOTP BBC Four dvds as the Beeb won't show them for copyright reasons!
Hello I posted the link.Any point posting in this thread without listening to it?
Any point in posting a link that you think goes directly to the dialogue but really goes to the start of a Film and expecting people to miraculously know where to scroll to?
The actual swear-words in Grease are shit, tit and pussy. There's lots of sexual hand gestures and movements though and spoken references to sex or sexual acts. It's probably more suited to a 12 than a PG going by today's standards.
The line is definitely "can't you turn me around or something", it doesn't even sound like the suggested alternative.
Yep. The audio is not very good quality - the uploader was using a camcorder to film the tv - but it's still easy to make out the words and there is no f word. I think the original poster was trying to wind people up.
Still, it gives me a excuse to link to the fantastic theme tune:
Off topic, but there was a scene in Neighbours a few years ago where the line was "Paul Freaking Robinson" loads of viewers at the time thought he was saying "Paul F***ing Robinson" but the clip clearly showed he was saying the word freaking.

I'm not surprised about the first, and I never knew about the second.........
That's because it rarely gets shown but that is why Rizzo thinks she's pregnant.

What's the time on the counter because it's not playing from that scene.

If I listen to the clip expecting to hear "f*ck" I hear:
"Can't you turn me around and f*ck me?"
If I listen to the clip expecting to hear "something" I hear:
"Can't you turn me around or something?"
Try it and see what you hear!
