I think the chances of that happening are very, very slim. They wouldn't do that when they haven't even started Kathy's storyline. Bringing back a dead characters isn't something you do twice in one year, it's more a once a decade sort of thing.
Agreed, and I think Kush has great potential as well, especially with Martin around. I'm looking forward to seeing more of those two, Stacey and Shabnam together. Aleks was another good addition too.
Looking at the list of new characters since DTC started I wouldn't call any of them wooden, well, they don't fit my definition of wooden anyway. Sure, there's some that need a bit work, and some that aren't as good as others, but not are poor imo.
I think Les and Pam are very poor. They don't really add anything to the show and are just annoying extras. I really don't see much of a point in them tbh. Donna and Kush I can understand, because Martin is friends with Kush and Donna is one of the market traders, who can be funny at times, but Les and Pam feel like 2 completely random characters, that have just come out of nowhere and don't have much of a future on the show.
The Carter's and Charlie have been successful. However, Kush, Donna and all that are very boring. Much better characters have been introduced.
