Is it me or does Sam Callahan sound slightly 'black' when he speaks?

I was watching the Xtra Factor and heard one of the boys speaking whilst I had my back to the TV and thought it was a black guy with a London accent speaking. When I turned round I realised it was Sam!!

Is it me or does Sam Callahan sound slightly 'black'? when he speaks.

    Must be something to do with his cranial cavity. The guy has a completely symmetrical face which is quite unnerving.

    He sounds gorgeous :).Also Lewi26 Yes he overdid the spray tan last week but not this week - he actually looked quite pale(but still looked gorgeous):D

    He doesn't even have a London accent. He sounds like he's from home counties suburban to me, a bit of a country boy

    *Edit to say he's from Maldon which is out in the sticks in the rural bit past Chelmsford

    Nah he doesn't.

    I've never heard of this guy, I Googled, found a video diary on YouTube, closed my eyes and listened...and he sounds white to me.

    How can you be an on X-Factor forum, specifically select a thread about one of the finalists then declare you've never heard of him?
