I suspect we will see a lot of political albums in the next few years, bands who have a history of political views within their music have been quite in the Obama years, I can imagine they are about to find their voice again, hopefully inspiring a new generation too.

Beyonce has already started on that line with 'Formation' etc. Yeah, I would like to here more music like that. And, perhaps, more pertinent to an 80s thread, it's 30 years since the Joshua Tree and U2's visions of America, maybe it is a good time to revisit that line of enquiry?
