I just installed this and it broke the internet on my ipad 4, thanks Apple.

    I thought it was supposed to fix the problems

    I'm still getting the blue screen of death and constant re-booting

    Easy, don't ever install an update until some other mug has tested it.

    They are really fvcking vp lately :o And they don't even have that many HW configurations to check. Imagine if they did Windows.

    8.1 has improved both my iPad3 and iPhone5s, both much speedier and responsive, wifi seems fine, bluetooth working.

    Just updated my first gen iPad Mini to iOS 8.1 and *touches wooden dining table* it's all running fine.

    Updated to 8.1 today on a mini and it's still terribly slow compared to iOS 7. Thanks apple :(

    As I have mentioned on other threads, my iPad2 is running very well with 8.1
    Had none of the problems a few on here have had.

    My mini got stuck in recovery mode after I updated. Then it was unable to restore. It eventually did the 2nd time I tried. Wish I hadn't updated.

    I've found by turning off Reduce Motion on my iPad Mini 2 has helped with some of the lag caused by iOS 8.1.

    I got this by default with my iPad Air 2, and I must say that it seems to have solved the problems with Page and iCloud.

    BTW, my old iPad was the same as yours, and that had so many issues with the first IOS 8, I didn't bother with the latest update. However, AFAIK, the person I sold it to has not had any problems. Maybe it depends on what you have installed?

    It's made my iPad 3 "cough, The New iPad" so slow.

    I type something on the keyboard and nothing happens. A second or two later the words appear suddenly. Menus are seriously jittery and I try not not to have more than 3 apps open at the same time.

    It's hard to believe this piece of crap was released only 2 years ago.
