I guess she's a great idea if you don't mind people being implanted with GCHQ/CIA monitoring chips at birth .......... remember that this woman would very likely have everyone spying on everyone else.

    Nay

The way she seems to have accepted every request from the security services being one reason.

I think she would be a good leader. If I was a member of Conservatives id definitely vote for her.

She has air of authority, but she does also come across as being a bit cold on camera. I think she would be quite heavy handed with our civil liberties policy wise.

I'm Brexit, if we must have a Tory lead us out, I'd rather it was her.

Thought it would be her all along but I don't care who is leader as long it isn't Boris.

Oh, has she reappeared then? Thought she'd wandered off the last few weeks. Phew.

I think she's the right woman for the job - I think she'll be good.
We will need someone who knows what's what - I'm very torn - as a Labour supporter I'd rather have someone with less 'appeal' in the opposite side. For the good of the country and seeing us through this difficult time - if it has to be a Tory - she'll do for me.

    If that makes sense.

Yay from me. Even if it's as caretaker until the next election she would bring some stability.

Johnson is too much of a liability and the others are too much of an unknown.

I would prefer May over Boris.

She wasn't overly for Remain, she played a pretty good game. To my recollection she only made one speech backing Remain and then took a big step back. How many average people on the street knew her position beforehand? She wasn't out there like the PM or Chancellor.

I think she is the safest option to deal with what is to come.

Everything possible must be done to stop Boris becoming Prime Minister of our country. I'd even join the Conservative Party, pay the subscriptions, to stop that happening.

Know exactly what you mean. As 'not-Tory' and 'ex-Labour' I am realistic that Tories will be in charge for at least the mean time and May is the firm and safe pair of hands.

Any post that makes me smile at this 'delightful' time gets a :D

She's probably the best choice as a politically confused 'Not Tory' actually, yeah.

Eta Meant me not her there. I do know she's a Tory. Not that confused...

If Boris wins, half the female population of London will be disgruntled.

I'm a Brexiter and as a member of the Tory Party. I will be voting for Theresa May if she's in the last two. I think she will be a good PM and then she can designate a Brexit negotiation team and also invite opposition parties and business leaders to do all the negotiating on the Governments behalf. She can send Boris and co to Brussels to do the negotiating and keep them out the way while she runs the country.

Teresa May looks to me like she is ill a lot of the time.
No idea if she is or not but to take on the role of PM if you have health issues cannot be a good thing to do.
