Excuse me if this thread has been done before - I did a search but couldn't find one.
What in your opinion has been the worst ever winning Eurovision song?
Mine has to be this dirge from 2007 - Serbia

You're being serious?
Hehe thats the only Eurovision Winners song I listen to quite frequently :P
For me the most awful and atrocious winner's song is Running Scared. Just cannot stand how they won.
Worst winner out of all of the years I've watched since that is, by far and away, Finland. Utter crock of crap!
Molitva was a fantastic winner though!
Russia in 2008, I don't even know how he got through the semi finals let alone won!
I didn't like Rock and Roll Kids in 1994 as much as some of Ireland's previous winners but it was completely overshadowed by Riverdance anyway.
Oh and Running Scared, Eric Saade was robbed!
2002 - I Wanna
2008 - Believe
totally agreed - Dima Bilan's song from 2006 was much better - especially in the original version
agreed...
Ofra Haza was just great!!!
I haven't been a great fan of the UK winning entries either, and felt the 90s were where the best UK songs came from. Love Shine a Light definitely isn't my favourite of them either.
I haven't like many of the winning songs but I have a special place of dislike for virtually every Eurovision winner from the early 00's. In fact the only song I've truly enjoyed winning was Euphoria.
If I was to narrow it down I'd say Dima Bilan's win was my least favourite winner of recent memory, and wouldn't have disliked if he won with his actually decent song in 2006 instead.
Agreed completely forgetable it didn't even have the audacity to be down right terrible either.
Having said that, I will never see the appeal of Running Scared.
2010 Satellite
2009 Fairytale
*puke*
Fairytale is my favourite winning song of the 2000s!
Other ones I hate are Ireland's Rock and Roll Kids and Linda Martin's Why Me? Why indeed!
Ah Lordi? For a minute I thought when did Lorde win?
Malta should of won !
