It's a very good debut EP for the most part, don't understand why 'Better Together' wasn't the debut single, think it would have made much more of an impact on radio & a broader audience. It's great. If they are looking for the right direction to take for the full album, defiantly more of that.

I like the strategy of just releasing an little EP to test the waters.

The girls are still holding strong, I'm looking forwards to seeing the sales estimates. Considering the XFUSA is a complete flop over there, these girls are doing great. It's nice to see them proving a lot of people who doubted them wrong.:)

According to Billboard their EP is headed for a debut of 30-32K in sales and expected to fall somewhere #3-#6 on the Billboard 200. The Editorial Director of Billboard said its a very good debut considering EPs don't sell as much as albums do for a number of reasons. A few being that they don't have the same promo from the labels as albums do, many are not willing to pay for 6 songs, EPs do not get the same hype and "media blitz" as albums do, EPs are only meant to be temporary and as a way to introduce an artists' musice with minimal risks etc. Considering their EP will debut with sales higher than many albums its a huge win.

New single has been announced. Its "Better Together" and will premiere on SNOL tonight and is expected to officially go for radio adds November 12th to begin impacting Top 40. They should have a lot more support from radio stations for this single considering they are a part of the Jingle Ball Concert tour this year and radio stations now know who they are.

Scott confirmed that the girls will be performing on this year's X Factor USA. They are also making another appearance and will perform on The Today Show November 4th. Pretty sure an appearance on the Ellen Show will happen as he's said several times in the past that they were working hard to get them a spot booked.

MMO is done on radio. If I'm being honest it was never a fan favorite...at least not for me. It was way overproduced and I think that's what made a lot of radio stations hesitant. It is currently in the 40's on itunes and I do expect it to eventually reach "gold" certification. Sales are near 300K at the moment, but with all of the online streams its really only about 100K away now since every 100 plays = 1 sale toward certification as per the RIAA.

The Jingle Ball Tour is throughout all of December with all of the major radio stations involved including Z100, KIIS FM, Kiss 108, Y100, 106.1 Kiss FM Dallas, etc. The girls will be performing in Madison Square Garden for.Z100's Jingle Ball event. Its also going to be televised for the first time nationwide. Looking forward to the tour! 3 of the radio stations have the girls performing during their opening and during their main event. Its been confirmed they will be performers for the main events for all of the radio stations Jingle Ball events.

Adding to the promo for "Better Together" as their 2nd single is VEVO. They will have their support for the rest of the year since they are the last VEVOLIFT artist for 2013. Promo from VEVO includes many things. Among them being their influence to radio stations. They will help get "Better Together" playlisted. They'll also appear on the sidebars of almost every VEVO video starting in early November. All in all, the future looks bright for Fifth Harmony. Not to forget they are releasing their debut album in early 2014 (confirmed) and their tour with Demi.

Epic have done a brilliant job breaking 5H out, been watching from a distance and very impressed with the progress. I agree with the sentiments about Miss Movin' On not being that great but Better Together is a great choice and forsee it being the song which really triggers things for them. The Jingle Ball gig looks massive for them.

There is a rumor that Fifth Harmony will be performing on the X Factor UK in December. Not sure how reliable these sources are. I'm personally waiting for confirmation from the label or the girls.

"@AMYCHICK94: @FifthHarmony are to perform on @TheXFactor making both their European and UK debut! #5thHarmonyXFactorUK Performing Miss Movin On!"

"@CowellOnline: Breaking news! @FifthHarmony to make their UK debut on the semi final of @TheXFactor UK! #harmonizers RT!"

I wouldn't be overly surprised if Cowell sorted this out for them, but also strange for X Factor UK to have a largely unknown act crop up on one of the biggest shows in the competition. Also, aren't they involved in Jingle Ball stuff around that time?

Maybe they are on the back burner as a possible guest. I'm sure they have a plan for breaking into the UK at some point, if Better Together turns out to be a smash they might take the opportunity then to introduce them to UK radio and see how things go. I wouldn't bother with Miss Movin' On if i was them.

    This EP is really good!

Leave My Heart Out of This and Who Are You are just as strong as their singles, they're sooooo good. Not keen on Better Together but it's good that their sound is now creeping away from Demi Lovato's sound, hopefully their first single from an album will just feel 100% like a Fifth Harmony song.

It's actually fantastic EP. Leave My Heart Out of This is like from Demi's album and I see nothing wrong with it. p.s. and yes, I love Demi :)

I suppose this is Syco's doing. The Harmonizers trended #UKWantsBetterTogether both in the UK and Worldwide so this is them giving back a little. The original is still not scheduled for release...

I did find something interesting though, the truth of the matter is uncertain but I'm hoping it's true. But the person has deactivated now..

An international single featuring a 'special guest' will be announced tonight.

Also here's Mel B talking about Fifth Harmony:

I suppose it will give them an indication of how much interest actually exists here. Despite some social media hype, I don't see any strong indication at the moment that there is actually that much interest in them here yet, but the number of copies of the acoustic version sold will give them a good idea. If it sells well they will probably push ahead with a single release before the years out, if it flops it doesn't really matter as it wasn't the real thing - they can work out a proper strategy and try a proper campaign another time.

The X Factor UK rumor can be put to rest in my opinion. AmyChick is not a reliable source as it turns out. She creates so many false rumors about various artists. On a side note it has been confirmed that Fifth Harmony will be at the Macy's Parade this year which averages 50 million viewers nationwide. Still no word whether they will be performing or not but as it stands its still a possibility until someone confirms otherwise.

FIFTH HARMONY TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM PRIOR TO SERVICE MASTER 200 AT PIR

    By Official Release
    PIR - Phoenix International Raceway

PHOENIX – Radio Disney’s “N.B.T.” (Next Big Thing) and Epic Records’ Fifth Harmony will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” live at Phoenix International Raceway prior to the ServiceMaster 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race (Saturday, Nov. 9, 2 p.m. MST), PIR President Bryan R. Sperber announced today. The group’s performance was arranged through a partnership between PIR, Radio Disney Phoenix and the NASCAR Entertainment Group.

“We are excited to have one of the most popular musical acts in America perform the national anthem before the ServiceMaster 200,” Sperber said. “The young ladies in Fifth Harmony are incredibly talented vocalists and I’m certain that our fans will love their performance.”

The teen pop female vocal group was put together by Simon Cowell and is comprised of individual “The X Factor” contestants Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Camila Cabello. It was announced in July that Fifth Harmony would be the first act to be spotlighted in Radio Disney’s newly revamped “N.B.T.,” a year-round program to introduce young recently signed artists on the cusp of becoming music’s next big thing. The program takes place across multiple platforms including Disney Channel, Radio Disney, RadioDisney.com, Disney.com and social media sites, as well as at live Radio Disney events in local markets.

Fifth Harmony recently released their debut EP “Better Together,” which skyrocketed to No. 2 on the iTunes’ album chart and features their first single, “Miss Movin’ On.” The members of Fifth Harmony co-wrote many of the songs on the album, which they say deals with the issues they face as teenage girls. “The songs are a direct reflection of us and what we go through,” Lauren said in the group’s official bio. “Because we’ve been able to co-write, we’ve been able to personalize our music and make it relatable.”

One of the group’s hallmarks is their strong connection to their fans, nicknamed “Harmonizers,” through social media. The group’s official Twitter account, @FifthHarmony, has more than 850,000 followers, and each member of the group has more than 350,000 followers on her personal account.

Previous collaborations between NASCAR and The Walt Disney Company include NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Trevor Bayne’s appearance as presenter at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Joey Logano’s guest starring role on a recent episode of Disney XD’s live-action comedy series “Lab Rats.”

^^^Even though its just a performance of the national anthem, it will be televised on ESPN2. I can't remember a group singing the 'Star Spangled Banner' so I'm interested in seeing how they arranged for it.

Since Fifth Harmony can't get enough of their fans during Demi Lovato's Neon Lights tour next year, they decided to do something extra special for their Harmonizers and put on some secret shows!

Since the girls obviously can't keep this "secret tour" a secret, they decided to call it a very fitting name -- The Worst Kept Secret tour!

Carrie Underwood, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony Confirmed For Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (Source: Idolator)

    Carl Williott November 5th, 2013

The 87th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is just around the corner, and NBC has snagged pop’s reigning TV special specialist, Carrie Underwood, to perform at the Turkey Day extravaganza. The country superstar’s performance is part of a Sound Of Music spotlight (Underwood is starring in the network’s live Sound Of Music special on December 5).

Also confirmed for the holiday parade are Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony and Fall Out Boy. The floats on Sixth Ave. have been home to a grab bag of pop stars in recent years, including Avril Lavigne, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green, The Wanted, Cody Simpson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, Karmin and, yes, even Kanye West.

NBC’s parade coverage begins at 9 a.m. ET on November 28.

We have confirmation from a reliable source that Fifth Harmony will be performing on the X Factor USA. No details on when yet. This was just tweeted: :)

Also, we have confirmation that Fifth Harmony will be performing at the Macy's Parade and not just attending. This is a huge nationally televised event (avg. of 50 million viewers) so this is a great opportunity to show the country who they are. This event takes place on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28th) and will be aired on NBC.
