sheila: do you realise what you have unleashed? this poor pub will now have to try to cope with 14 gazzilion fans landing on their doorstep. the locals will be out selling hamburgers (or tiny hot dogs 'mario weeners'), the children of the village will have to constantly wear blinkers incase they see mario and lisa clips on the huge outdoor screens that will inevitably be erected, the golden oldie ladies will be constantly harrased by the paparazi asking them if the ever had sex with mario in his younger days, the local diy might be happy when they have umpty pumpty orders for ronseal so that his fans can be the same colour as him and the local butcher will have a sign outside saying 'get your thick end of mario here!'. you have unleashed the beast on to that poor village. you cad!

We went out and had a lovely meal and then called in there for a last drink before dropping people off.
It's a friendly pub, which is obviously full of regular locals. It just gave that impression.
At the time I was in there it seemed to be full of nice normal people, no pretention at all.
So that's why he thinks he has a fan club:p
