Did you watch the whole thing? When Roma said there could be twelve hours of AD a year for years, did she mean this series is something that could be repeated every Easter, or that they intend to carry on making Bible series? I'm not sure how much of the book this one covers.

Yeah I watched that bit, I thought it was a throwaway comment but perhaps she's being serious.
There's big Robron drama, with Robert telling Aaron he loves him, and nobody knowing if it's true or if it's manipulation or somewhere in between, and it got me thinking about ILY day for us. There were a few people who weren't convinced Brendan was being genuine, although I had no doubt about it and most people didn't. I think what made it more clear cut for us was that, while we didn't know the details of Brendan's back story, we knew that he had massive issues and it would practically kill him to admit his feelings for a man so he wouldn't make it up, and also that it took him nine months from the first kiss to finally say it. In Emmerdale, Robert has had his share of problems but didn't have a brutal abusive homophobe for a father and wasn't brought up being told gay people go to Hell, so it's conceivable that he could grit his teeth and say it for manipulative reasons; and also it's less than four months since their first kiss so it's a bit quick.
I'm glad we didn't have that degree of doubt, so when Brendan said it it was so incredibly exciting.
