Aw Rachel Shenton and Jess Fox seeing each other gives me old school Oaks feels :kitty:
Kieron and Emmett defintely had that chemistry to make a gay couple work

They have it in spades :kitty:

I personally don't like them, but I'm sure they're annoyed at the success.

Considering the way they push theirs, and Emmerdale hardly even needed to try to gain support... When a ship speaks for itself, that's when they're onto something.

I was just going to post exactly this.:D

It's lovely to hear him talking, but a bit odd to hear him talking without swearing.;-)

After he's dunked, he looks like a wet version of how he was after Walker caught the train.

    It's a great cast.

He's still saying Jesus though. ;-)

He sounds so excited about it, I'm really pleased for him. :kitty:

It's going to get such a massive, massive audience.

Did you watch the whole thing? When Roma said there could be twelve hours of AD a year for years, did she mean this series is something that could be repeated every Easter, or that they intend to carry on making Bible series? I'm not sure how much of the book this one covers.

I think someone said it covers the book of Acts.

    We saw him first. ~

Yeah I watched that bit, I thought it was a throwaway comment but perhaps she's being serious.

Okay, thank you. I think I might have heard them say that in the video but I was too busy waiting for Embo...

Does Saul/Paul die in that one?

Anyway they could do a series about him and his epistles.;-)

Paul's story is featured in the latter part of Acts. It ends with him awaiting trial.

    Exactly.

If it's a big hit I'm sure they'll want to make more.

I wonder if that amazing set is being left intact for other productions to use. I imagine it would be useful for lots of historical/fantasy dramas.

I'm glad other people know about this Bible stuff - I've not got a clue :p

There's big Robron drama, with Robert telling Aaron he loves him, and nobody knowing if it's true or if it's manipulation or somewhere in between, and it got me thinking about ILY day for us. There were a few people who weren't convinced Brendan was being genuine, although I had no doubt about it and most people didn't. I think what made it more clear cut for us was that, while we didn't know the details of Brendan's back story, we knew that he had massive issues and it would practically kill him to admit his feelings for a man so he wouldn't make it up, and also that it took him nine months from the first kiss to finally say it. In Emmerdale, Robert has had his share of problems but didn't have a brutal abusive homophobe for a father and wasn't brought up being told gay people go to Hell, so it's conceivable that he could grit his teeth and say it for manipulative reasons; and also it's less than four months since their first kiss so it's a bit quick.

I'm glad we didn't have that degree of doubt, so when Brendan said it it was so incredibly exciting.
