Ed, but not by much. He seemed more sincere and honest than Cemeron, who appeared a bit slimy.

Non! Vote UKIP Nigel should have been there.

I don't like Milliband and I was hoping for a Cameron win but I have to admit Milliband did better than Cameron

No, why should he, he wouldn't win?

Neither. Cameron was the least worst. But neither won.

Both of them will be thinking they could have done better.

Thing is, Milliband gave the impression that he cared about people, whereas Cameron gave the impression that he couldn't care less about people.

    Hard to judge.

Both performed well in the audience session and both got a mauling of Paxman

Sounds about right. Neither did great but neither had a disaster and I can't see anyone changing their preconceived views.

I don't think it's a case of who won, it's a case of who lost least.

Milliband was stumped for answers, inarticulate and embarrassing to wartch him struggle with Paxman
Cameron had a better manner, didn't waffle and was a match for Paxo

    Draw.

Both grilled by Paxman on different issues, both did ok with the audience questions.

Cameron. He managed to remain calm and appeared more like a statesman. Milliband appeared flustered and unconvincing,

Cameron & Miliband - Who Won?

Paxman won of course! He asked uncomfortable and searching questions of both party leaders so he gets a 10/10 from me for doing that.

Both Cameron and Miliband did pretty well on the audience questions so I'd call that a draw. In respect of the Paxman questions, Cameron seemed to wilt and get overly defensive at times so I'd say Miliband did better on that aspect not least because Miliband seemed at times to fight back and elicit spontaneous audience applause on a number of occasions.

    Neither for me -
Cameron: Slippery, snake oil salesman, no idea about real life for most people. (puke smiley + >:()
Miliband: Highly talented but neurotic, not to be trusted with top job. Likely to throw Brown-style wobblers. /:confused:/:(

The good thing for both leaders is that it was only on Channel 4 and rather more important news has pushed it of the front pages tomorrow

ICM poll interesting, thought Miliband would have been the winner.

Miliband. However I'm sure the Tory voters will pretend otherwise.

Miliband was slightly less bad imo so just shaded it, though that is hardly a ringing endorsement as he should have been able to thrash a woeful Cameron. I doubt that either will have won many votes from the people that matter, the undecideds.

    So..............no 42 point gap then?

The 42 point personal gap that yougov said is priced into the headline voting intention....

    But that means that................

...and yet Dan Hodges, scourge of Miliband, said tonight that Miliband was the better of the two in the Paxman interview section and here's Nigel Farage's view of the situation:

Miliband is showing more humour and courage than Cameron! #BattleForNumber10
