And you can't even tell someone that what they post is drivel without getting a temporary ban for being "offensive".

Cosmo was a typical Muslim basher so good riddance. I've seen Dirona baiting other posters on numerous occasions so hopefully they will learn from the ban.

Utter rot. Cosmo, was a decent poster for many years. Just because someone doesn't agree with your "politics" doesn't make him or her a bad person. I didn't agree with all Cosmo said, but in general, I didn't have a problem with him. I ignored the bits I didn't agree with.
If you only want to discuss things with people of your own political persuasion, then maybe you should find a specialist website. This site is open for all, be it left wing or right wing or apolitical.

I remember the first post I ever read of Trev (now banned and I've forgotten how his name was spelled!), I got a little prickly with his post and asked him a question about it...he disarmed me with his humor even tho I didn't agree with the politics. Same with Cosmo, a really nice guy and not 'in your face', with his views.
I lean far left politically but I must say the condescending and arrogant screeching from some on what is officially my side, on here, makes me want to veer right off center !
