Covered in snow, most of the schools and all the colleges shut, it's hit us quite hard, we've got quite a thick covering of snow (considering we're right on the coast and this village is right next to the sea) and it's still coming down heavy. (This is Gwynedd I'm in btw). Apparently the buses aren't running.

It's been snowing heavily all night here and it's thick on the ground. I'm going to go out and walk in it before it gets ruined by all the other people's footsteps. :)

Just like here Radio. The road is just ice, even the dog is struggling:D

    Well no snow here overnight
According to the Met orofice we will get it late Fri/Saturday
    Here's a question
Three weather girls up here on BBC Scotland are all preggers,
is it some thing they ate, drank or were they all using the same
    dirty cup?
I was in Hawick Tuesday do deliver a couple of prezzies
then over to Denholm to deliver some other stuff.
Roads were clear no real probs; if memory serves
the likes of Wooler is quite high up in the hills, like Mindrum,
hope it clears for you soon,
    Oh and call me Geoff!;)

None of the models are agreeing on the snow risk tomorrow- some are just keeping it all down in the English Channel!

Good news, last thing we need on the last weekend before xmas is a load of snow.

Here is Suffolk we had a light smattering of snow - but its the ice that is lethal. The gritters didnt come out to where i live which is quite rural and the roads where like ice rinks.

Good news, the mild weather is returning for next week as the cold northerlies are cut off from today, a low pressure is developing to the south bringing up milder air preceded by snow of course.

I don't think the central belt in Scotland got any snow and none is forecast. Seems to be stopping before it gets to Glasgow and Edinburgh. http://www.raintoday.co.uk
