The Queen's Speach

I reckon that the queen's speach is written for her by some ******** in the Houses of Parliament (one day, an angry mob WILL storm the Houses of Parliament resulting in a load of dead politicians). One day she';ll speak her own mind but the politicians'll arrange a Princess Diana 'accident' for her if she so much as critises them.

I can't believe how people can get so 'worked up' about this anyway.

Pointless individual witters on for a few minutes and the sycophants lap it up.

"What a lovely speech" they say as is she even cares about it.

What? Do you think that the Queen is secretly on our side but is being told to tow the line by the Govt.
The Queen and her family haven't got the first idea about what life is like for her "subjects" and care even less. They've had their head in the nosebag for so long they think that's how it should be.

How can she be German when she and both of her parents were born in Britain?

    Ancestry.

Everyone in this country has foreign ancestors. Is no one British who lives here, then?
    How very, very odd.

It's more a reaction to post 5 that stated that the queen was English as opposed to British.

If you look at the history of the British Isles we kept getting invaded. So a high percentage of people will have foreign ancestry at some point in their family tree.

I see. So mentioning ancestry was just a ruse, was it?
    Very oblique.
