What is on your bed?

Do you have the central heating on at night? We don't have any central heating at our place and generally just heat up the room we are in using a gas fire (in one room) or plug in radiator in the rest.

We have never bothered to heat anywhere during the night but the last few nights I have been having second thoughts as I keep waking up freezing.

I have an electric blanket to warm the bed up before getting in and then covering I have a sheet, a blanket and a duvet. I am wearing full length pajamas and socks and I am still freezing.

We have lived in this place for 6 years and I have never felt the cold like this before.

Sounds familiar, but the other way round, at my place, when the bf and neighbour's dogs are here as company for my own. The cat rules, though.

Saves on electric blankets and heating, though.

I don't have upstairs heating either - and don't like electric blankets. I have a hot water bottle, two duvets and a large woollen blanket - make sure at least one of them is large enough to reach the floor at the sides - stops draughts!

My duvet, and a folded up Scottish all wool travel rug for when the duvet isn't enough to keep out the cold, and of course my electric blanket, nothing like getting into a nice warm bed when its cold.

A throw and more often than not, the dog. I often let her get in bed with me. Keeps me nice and warm
