After drawing a blank in various supermarkets I finally tracked down some of the melon Lucozade - in the village shop (so it's probably out of date I'm not fussy tho)

I always associate it with being on the mend after an illness as my gran would buy me a bottle (in its transparent orange wrap). We rarely had carbonated drinks as kids so it was quite an event. Although it tasted odd and wasn't like normal pop.
I really am showing my age.
I'll be talking about hoop rolling, next, or sherbet.
Great for hangovers . Only really like the original though.
ETA: I remember as a kiddywink sitting in back of car being driven into London on M4, and there used to be a giant Lucozade bottle neon sign on a building by the flyover. Used to be fascinated by it.

Having said that I tried the caribbean crush this year and that was really really nice. Not tried the other flavours though.

I suppose that was too small a market for the product.
Miss the lemon... Why did they discontinue it?

I do still sometimes get the original lucozade but only when I'm ill... It makes me feel sorry for myself
