Yes mr hunt, it is not the governments job to provide employement, thats the private sectors role

The man at the end is also correct, the directors board members ect are paid far to much for what the actualy do.

One of those women in the front row had something wrong with her. Far too enthusiastic with her clapping and she was even poised ready, with hands in mid-air as DD was doing his final link.

She needs to change her dosage.

I'm happy to pay VD's train fares to go to Salford so long as she stops presenting Newsnight.

Who so only those that sit on the board can decide what they get paid, sounds fantastic.

Yeh screw the shareholders that actually own the company andthd staff that well do all the god damn work. Sweet jesus im begining to sound like a socialist.

Daily Mail view on the empty seats - a shambles!:p

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2511603/BBC-Question-Time-shambles-panelists-travelling-Salford-stranded-train-following-trackside-fire.html

DM spin aside, I would have expected QT to have at least one additional panellist in reserve.

I actually prefer having fewer panel members - more chance of hearing different views, particularly from the audience

My thoughts exactly, given that the two absent members were those with the least interesting things to say. Restricting the discussion to the three politicians and the audience worked very well I believe with obviously more time to scrutininse the politicians.

Having less panellists wasn't as bad as I expected but it left Ollie Grender exposed.

Her weakness would have been less obvious on a 5 person panel.

The audience gimmick also was better than expected, but that may have been because they were more carefully selected than usual. There certainly seemed to be more balance (age apart) with less of the usual activists and oddballs.

I'm 17, when I reach your age I'm likely to be working for longer for less to pay for your debt? Is this fair or is it the older generation whom hold the political capital acting upon self interest via their vote?

Older people are currently paying the mortgages of the younger through the low interest rates and deliberate erosion of their savings.

Its a nasty World that you are about to grow up into.

Pensioners don't have to have a bus pass if they don't want one.
and if they do and don't use it the only cost relates to making it.

I really think that basic pensioner benefits are something that shouldn't be means tested. The idea leaves a rather bad taste in my mouth.
I don't think that anyone paying the 40% rate of tax should get the fuel allowance.

As Dimbers says, the pensioners can give them back if they so choose.
    Not very clever Dimbers.

Incoming bullshit about help to buy from the tories

For the Young: Benefit cuts and "workfare".

For the Boomers: A massive welfare handout called "Help to Buy".

Cameron's pandering to one generation and bullying of the other says much about the character of politicians.
