A few Rammstein English versions have German in them. Rammstein are German though but they have released these

    Crematory.

They have a lot of songs that mix English with German lyrics.

They do it way better than Rammstein as well.

Check out this song [my number one song from the bands arsenal]:

    Fly - Crematory

I was just trying to think of English bands, but if people are mentioning bands, then I'd aslo say Fury in the Slaughterhouse or Bitune.

Apart from Rammstien, all I can think of is the line "Sprechen sie Deutches, baby" from Beck's 'Loser'.

...I'm sure that's german anyway, I never did that at school :o

Three separate lines in HMWYRS have German phrases:

    Je t'adore, ich liebe dich,

    Das ist gut! C'est fantastique!

C'est si bon, mm? Ist es nicht?

    Status Quo, Paper plane

"Riding in a Three Grand Detsche Car a to be is often very far, home is near bust still a long way. Legs and head all feel the wrong way then I realise my Detsche Car.

How about the English songs Komm, gib mir deine Hand and Sie liebt dich by the Beatles. They are in German :p

It's got nothing to do with your Vorsprung Durtcsch Technick you know

Or how about Rock Me Amadeus by Falco? Every chorus in English, every verse in German. I mainly know about this cos I've been playing it on Singstar recently :o

The Beatles recorded both "She Loves You" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" in German . . .

Lemmy counts the band in in German at the start of "Tear You Down" on the Overkill album - does that count ?

There's a Belgian band who sang in English called 2 Belgen who had a great song called 'Lena' that has a few lines of German in it - it wasn't a hit in the UK though (I think!).

Worth checking out if you're into the electronica scene of the mid-80s :)

Yes it is based on a German Folk song. I cannot remember the title though.

How about "O Tannenbaum", "Stille Nacht" or "Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Alles"? Of course the words of the last song are different now, or so I believe.
