I believe Sky's standard house move price is still £50.
Considering (if required) you get a new dish, cable and LNB for that price I don't think it's unreasonable.

I'm not sure but I remember when we moved (in 2002) we had to take up a new minimum 12-months contract.

When I moved recently Sky wanted about £50 so I told them to cancel my subs. I said was thinking of cancelling anyway and within 30 seconds I got the move free. No new contract by the way.

Exactly the same for me - although standard cost of house move is now £40, not £50. But if you say you're going to cancel, they'll install the same package at your new house (i.e. satellite dish with quad LNB, two cables to each Sky+ box) for free. Let's face it, they get more than £40 out of you in a single month's subscription, so it's worth it from their point of view to do the installation for free, and know that they're going to continue keeping you as a customer.
