    He's a good TV presenter, fearless, always talking in interviews about how much he loves his wife.

    I like him a lot.

    I cannot stand him at all
    His voice irritates me it's dodgy lisp
    He always has to be so "nice" that its creepy and saccharin

    I really wish he would do a Bill Oddie and disappear off our screens altogether as he spoils what would be decent programmes with his inane simpering.

    To the person who said recycle him - PLEASE GOD NO! we don't want him back in any way shape or form.

    The poor man had a serious illness lately and his wife lost their baby. I wish him well. He's not the most dynamic of presenters, but he seems friendly enough to me and is very easy on the eye.

    Not my cup of tea - find him quite soulless. But that goes for most of the mediocre presenters and 'celebs' around.

    Please don't even get me started on Davina McCall.:mad:

    I like him and have done since Castaway. Perhaps the fact that he is posh and can string a sentence together without every other word being "like" is what puts some off him.

    He's far better than many, if not most T.V presenters in the U.K.

    He is harmless enough.Quite pleasant in fact.Not got the IQ of Stephen Hawkin, but heck he is on TV so does it matter. At least he is not a loud exhibitionist like most of them.Knocks the socks off one trick ponies like Norton and Ross and Loose Women or Davina etc etc....

    Listen ere'! son of satan, you leave Ben Fogle alone, he's lovely. At least he gets out there and does things, he can do no wrong in my eyes.

    it's something that cannot readily be cured!!

    and as for being "nice" and "saccharine" - that's just the way he is - he is a perfectly decent human who doesn't feel the need to eff and jeff or speak Estuary English when presenting a programme..... (your user name speaks for itself!! :eek: :D )

    durrr...what IS IT about not liking people who happen to have a modulated and pleasant speaking voice?? :confused:

    Ben Fogle is a good presenter and I love watching him on Animal Park and Thin Ice.

    Nothing against him personally, but I cannot stand him as a presenter. And he seems to pop up all over the place.

    Does anyone remember when he was on Castaway 2000? He was the big star of the show, it was the original Big Brother, but only I seem to remember it:o

    I remember it very well. Very good programme.
