Umm, I'll try to work out what I've done. I'll post a new one if I'm wrong on anything, which is strange. You are right about the episodes, now I'm doubting whether I counted one episode at all or not. I'll have another look when I have the time. In the mean time, regard this as a...rough draft? :o

Sean being so high on that list has nothing to do with Anthony Cotton being best mates with Phil Collinson, right? No, I didn't think it did...

Also, Becky and Tina far too high. Ugh.

Wow, the fact that Carla has been in every episode does surprised me, as I wonder when this last happened/who has also had very long runs like that - looking at past character appearances on Corriepedia, often the characters are on for 2 weeks for a big storyline, and then disappear for a couple before gradually reappearing. I am not surprised Ali King needed to take September off fora break, she must have been absolutely knackered!

It might not be an actual month she is off screen for due to the strange schedules these actors often get, but at some point the triangle will definitely not feature on our screens, approximately 6 weeks on from now i would guess! Hopefully though when she is away it won't be for too long!

Nice thread, must have been a lot of effort. Bit surprised Tina's so high, but then, she has a background role (like Sean) in a lot of episodes. Eva being 12 behind Stella seems odd too, for some reason.

And Sian and Michelle have both been away a long time.

any charactor who works in the pub automatically gets boosted up these lists as they are in thebackground of so many scenes even when they don't have any story of their own going on.

Seems to be a regular thing of PC's to give characters months off to give them a break. This time round it's been Gail, Audrey & Fiz. I've definitely noticed the absense of Gail & Audrey too and they have been missed. I was glad when Gail made a brief appearence on Monday. The way it's structured though is very clever as there are still brief mentions to ongoing stories in the background, like with Gary & Owen referring to how Izzy is.

It was a busy month for Carla! And it doesn't look like she's getting a break anytime soon.

Surprised to see Maria, Julie & Lloyd so high, but I guess both Maria & Loyd have been supporting characters in some big stories this year & Lloyd is getting his own now.

Sunita & Dev are token extras now basically. They just appear in the filler scenes. They also seem to be struggling for plots for Jason. He hardly appeared when Rosie took a break and he's hardly had anything to do this year.

I'm also struggling to see the point of Karl atm. Stella would have worked just as well as a mother/daughter unit and he doesn't seem to be given any material.

Finally everyone has been crying out to see more of Dennis. A great opportunity which hasn't really been used.

I really hope 27th May 2011 doesn't turn out to be Betty's last ever appearance :(
