    It certainly looks industrial enough!

He'd have loved it. He had a passion for wintery scenes of industrial towns and cities. This fits the bill perfectly. *admires ice rink below text*

He was a simple man who used 5 colours. He liked white and how it turned to off white over years.

He like the forum designers, never visited the doctors. on his death, he was not registered with a doctor.
I imagine he didn't like other peoples advice and opinions.

I don't think he liked many things.

A lot of his earlier paintings are really unsettling.

He'd have fitted in on here though - there is a series of his paintings of a young woman he claimed to know. Most of the people who actually knew him had no knowledge of her, and it is widely believed that he invented her.

My own suspicion is that she worked in a shop he went in, or that she passed his window every day. He didn't know her, but she was real.

A few of Lowry's line drawings and sketches, discovered after his death, were of a darker variety, stuff that didn't inspire insipid somgs about matchstick men, women in leather bondage gear handcuffed to beds, naughty, naughty man.

I think Edvard Munch would have liked the new layout though
