TV signal to additional rooms.

Hi
Due to lousy terrestrial signal, we always watched tv via Sky and had signal routed into loft and then out again to several rooms via amplifier/splitter. Due to extension being built the cable was cut and for a couple of years have had no tv in additional rooms. With the introduction of digital signal thought that it would be a good idea to re-install the signal to the other rooms but can't remember the exact connections. I think that the signal from the aerial went directly to the vhs recorder and then to the sky box before going to the amp/splitter in the loft. To enable us to watch Sky or terrestrial in additional rooms, can anyone please explain the correct routing of the signal ? |Thanks

If you need Sky in the other rooms then the aerial needs to be fed down to the RF IN on the back of the Sky box and the RF2 OUT fed back up to the loft to the input of the amplifier. If the amplifier has the right capability you may also be able to use "magic eye" remotes in the other rooms to control the Sky box.

However with the march of technology, the RF signal on analogue station is woeful on modern tellys

Use the RF cable from RF 2 on sky box to distribute the Digital RF signal from the aerial.

Consider using a HDMI splitter to master bedroom for Sky
