the 32 and 26 inch ones are great, one of the best TVs in that size, i havent yet seen the 40 though. i find when LCD goes bigger the picture goes worse, i would go with plasma at that size.
You're best to look at avforums.com for this sort of specific advice. Warning though: it'll take you hours to read it all and you'll be even more confused at the end!!
Personally, I had a look at that model and tried it with SD feed on RGB (it also does component over SCART!) from my Topfield PVR and wasn't impressed with the motion blur. There is a new model out soon (LE40M51/61, some people have bought them online already) which quotes an 8ms refresh instead of the R51's 12ms which should improve this but I'd definitely see one working on SD before you part with cash.
