In the same vein, I'm sure I saw somewhere that Sky Sports 3 was going to become the home of Sky's tennis coverage too.
Interesting isn't it.
The whole of the ATP World Tour Finals are on SS3.
On the night of the final of the ATP World Tour Finals (Mon 11 Nov) there is no live sport on SS2 and SS1 only has an early round of the Grand Slam of Darts. So putting the final of the ATP World Tour Finals on SS3 certainly looks very odd.
Just to add to the above that the whole of the Ashes 1st test is on SS2 - but it's not like the summer - the channel is not becoming a 24 hour Ashes (or even cricket) channel.
The Ashes is by far the most important SS content when it is on (don't need to even consider any clash with PL football as Ashes is obviously overnight) yet it is still being put on SS2.
So there does seem to be a pattern developing across several sports.
No, all four days of The Masters will only be on SS4.
That's a real shame. Just means I'll be watching on BBC at the weekend for the HD coverage, since Sky still deprive us Virgin customers of HD except on SS1 & 2. I prefer Sky's coverage & commentators these days. Doesn't really make much sense, along with not allowing F1 in Hd too. Just means that people who may have watched on Sky will watch on BBC for the massively better HD picture.

Conclusion: Looks like something is going on!

Majors & Ryder cup will be moved to ss1.
Sky Sports 4 is now 'your home of golf', for all tournaments.
Jamie Spence on the course in Morocco. Wonder if he's replacing Ross Mcfarlane who has been jailed for downloading child porn?
Quite a shock. Nice bloke, had a chat with him and John Paramor at last year's Spanish Open.
Surely the majors will specifically the masters will b largely on SS1?

So far in studio we have David Livingston, Monty (grr) Butch Harmon and Paul McGinley
Kirsty Gallagher on site talking about thr par 3 contest. Tim Barter there in I would guess his normal role of interviewing players
