    I don't know the iPad but Apple seem to be planning to require publishers to abide by strict rules if they wish to sell their electronic editions to iPad users.

    Imagine if a newsagent were to apply this ideology to newspapers! Or bookshops were to have guidelines as to what can be published.

    I don't, however, know if this is correct. Just info from the link, maybe someone knows for sure what Apple are up to?

    Hard to believe they would be allowed to dictate what is/is not acceptable to publish.
