History is starting to repeat its self in corrie as Tony Gordon Is set To Become the NExt Richard Hillman!

Ruthless businessman Tony Gordon takes on a belligerent pensioner who threatens his property venture with potentially fatal consequences.

The Underworld boss acquires a street of terraced houses, bar one property which owner Jed Stone (Kenneth Cope) refuses to part with.

Desperate to have the complete set, Tony takes matters into his own hands and forces his way into Jed’s house to offer more money for the property.

When Jed refuses, Tony’s manner becomes even more menacing and the old man collapses clutching his chest. Will Tony call and ambulance against his own interests?

Will Jed Die?

    urm thanks for the spoiler. It would be nice if you took the "Serial killer" in the street bit out of the thread title. If it is true, which I think it is, then there is no point in displaying spoiler in the title as you have already given away a huge spoiler.

    Sounds good, Tony is great, every soap needs a baddie. And he's not your typical "hardman meat-head", he's cool, calm and calculating and charms the ladies. Can't wait for this and the Liam stuff.:)

    Jed was Minnie Caldwell's lodger. I could be wrong but I think she called him Sunny Jim, he called her Ma.

    So Jed Stone is going to be the new Duggie...left for dead by Tony...the New Richard Hillman.
    Yawn...I`ve heard of soaps stealing other soaps storylines but a soap stealings it`s OWN storyline....:confused:

    Tony is such a cliche, lame villian. He's treading on Corrie's history of unique and original baddies. I find his performance totally one-dimensional and patronising to its audience. He may as well have "bad" tattooed across his forehead. :rolleyes: :yawn:

    Well, 'serial killer' could be in reference to
    Liam's murder - he has a motive and if he kills this Ted guy then it won't be out of character

    But having said this I can't help feeling that would be a little obvious...

    As there's no acting involved and he's just being himself under another name, it's easy to get confused. :p And it also makes sense to fuse the names. ;)

    Playing a character only comes into it when actors are involved. ;)
