i say wait until tonight at 9.45pmish as both bbc and itv will say something about thier football plans for the last 16. then we know which soaps will be moved.

juat a reminder england plays monday whiich means i think there will be no corrie or eastenders on as there a risk the soap would get a very low rating while england plays

ITV will have the England game.

Wales play on the Saturday at 5 probably on the BBC.

Not sure if Casualty will be affected.

Wimbledon on Bbc2 on Monday and EE isnt on till 8 however If the Spain v Italy game goes to ET thst means it could finish as late as 720 ish then penalties could see it end at 745 then news will have to be shown so yes it could
    Effect EE

To be fair to the BBC, they probably thought England would win the group and play on Saturday at 5pm, hence EastEnders being planned. If the game was on BBC One, I'm sure ITV would still air their soaps.

Whether the BBC have the game or not on Friday, EastEnders was not planned as Celebrity Masterchef would have been broadcast from 7:30 - 9pm if ITV had the football.

From now on all the games kick off at 8.00pm our time and if that the case Casualty might have to move if BBC shows the game, any outdates from BBC and ITV on the mater?

BBC and ITV have now decided which matches for the quarter finals from this Thursday to Sunday, so the confirmed schedule for soaps are below:

Thursday: Emmerdale at 6:45pm, and EastEnders at 7:30
Friday: Emmerdale at 7pm & 8pm, Coronation Street as normal, no EastEnders.
    Saturday: No Casualty
    Sunday: Casualty at 9:25pm

Next week's soaps on Monday and Tuesday air as normal with Emmerdale being an hour long edition on Tuesday. For Wed/Thurs, it will be confirmed after the quarter finals of the Euros have been completed.
