He seemed happy enough it will be something to show his dad.
You had him at death's door now his dad is still alive. :D

It must be a nice bonus for the locals when a show like TAR arrives, earnings and later, show fans looking for the shops.

Do either of you have an Android phone? I want a calendar that will work separately from Google + and give me reminders.

It should be easy enough to find one.

I'm not a calendar person, I get nervous at reminders :)

    How about something like SolCalendar.

    I have an android phone.
I haven't looked at any calendars on though I'm afraid.

    This one looks interesting
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.timleg.egoTimerLight&hl=en
Thanks, it synchs with google which I am trying to avoid, I am spooked by the way it tracks what I have been doing on my laptop to the phone, not just my Gmail account. I will check out the similars suggested.

My kitchen calendar has let me down a few times recently when I have forgotten to write stuff on it so I thought I would try the 21C approach.

Thanks re SolCalendar, one of the Cons on the Cnet review is poor synch with Google.

They have a different one on their website, shame I do not make gifts.
    eta

I would prefer MC as I do not fancy anything spooky now. I have put on the fan heater, thermostat is above 20C but I am still chilly. Sunny SA may help.

I enjoy wine with a meal (not breakfast) but not as a drink for the evening.

9 minutes before they arrive at a bench, they are very relaxed considering they have only 15 minutes.

I tried a glass once and didn't like it.

Maybe it wasn't very good wine but that put me off.

The wine mob are making comments about the contestants cooking.

What do they know about cooking.

You have to try more than one, red wine is very different from white, I do not like many whites. Try again when eating with someone who loves wine.

    Are they all serving salmon?

My mother has racks of it maybe I will try one day.

    It seems so.

It doesn't look like anyone will be eliminated at the end of this episode.

The female judge in the red and the small fella sitting next to her wearing glasses are miserable gits.

:D Visions of her arriving home to find you have glugged a bottle that was being saved for an occasion.

They are serving different proteins in the second round.
Penny is not doing well at this, she should have gone with Ian. He is old enough to have known the good days of expense account dining and good wines.

I couldn't use the excuse I was pairing it with oven chips.

    Penny made a bad choice

Sipho survives again and gets a reward.

Negative nit pickers like them usually know less than they pretend.

Penny in the elimination challenge and Sipho is safe. :(

I cannot stand Sipho, her voice is annoying and she looks like a laundry basket.
