Christina and Rhianna - it's just disgusting. It's meant to be a family show.

    My mum just texted me saying basically the same thing "This is a disgrace, is this how young girls need to sell music nowadays?"

    My reply?

    "LOL" :D

    I agree, and the really disappointing thing is these two girls are very talented and needn't resort to it.

    I agree, the American artists really exploit the sex factor - the lyrics and all the gyrating. I wonder why they feel they have to do it:(

    Yep - if two young women who come across as confident and talented can only see this way of promoting themselves, then what about younger girls who may be insecure and look to the media for some type of guidance

    LOL you mean you could see their legs???? Because I can't think of any other possible reason for your distress - they weren't exactly air humping were they!! Although that would have been very funny :D

    She's not promoting herself. She's promoting a film called Burlesque, that's about burlesque dancing. The performance is a direct copy of a performance from the film.

    I have to agree. In a sense it's terribly sexist. You'd never see men behaving that way on stage. There's a lurid "get them out for the lads" vibe about it, and with kids watching, I think it sets a horrible example.

    Both performances just looked so desperate, the way they were dressed and dancing. Don't know why they need to do that when they're obviously talented. Some one like Taylor Swift has a similar target audience yet doesn't resort to sexing her up her performances and way she dresses to sell records.

    It isn't suitable before 9pm when small children watch this show.

    I'm no prude but it's too early in the evening for that type of slutty performance.

    But as soon as Rihanna came on with her gi-normous hoop earrings it was going to be all downhill. The bigger the hoops the bigger the ****
