Now that is true, plenty of other people i know agree.
We want to advise him on where he could find a girlfriend, not scare him!
I say that because I had a lot of bad experiences personally of free dating sites, which bore out on the relevant threads on this forum.
Things have changed since I tried them a couple of years ago - POF isn't as free as it was then and the same websites are now offering phone apps with geolocation included to find people nearby - could be useful to find people nearby - one of the main problems I had with online dating was that all the people I spoke to were far away and long distance.
