Had some fun with Windows on my Mac a couple of hours ago. I booted my Mac into the Dark Side and installed a bunch of updates. I rebooted to finish the install and just as it had finished it told me I had more updates! Good old Micro$oft >:( It reminds me why I use the Mac OS as my main OS
I'm feeling fine as I didn't drink any alcohol in the end. If I didn't have my college work to do then I would have had a tiny glass of champagne but I needed a clear head for study

Ah, rebooting after installing updates, gotta love Windows
The only updates that need a reboot on Linux are Kernel updates
^ ^ That's wise CNBC I know a few people who are taking part in the Dryathon for charity.
I think that I'll be skipping alcohol this month too, though I'm not a big drinker anyway so it probably won't be that difficult.
Do any of you have resolutions this year?
I am going to try to be more positive about myself, no more self depreciating jokes. I am also going to try and eat healthily and exercise more, so many weddings and stag weekends this year.

I don't use Windows as my main OS, I use Mac OS X most of the time, but I have Windows for games I had to install some updates on the partition and I got faced with yet another typical example of Micro$oft brilliance Next time I go on that Mac I'm rebooting back to the good ol' Mac side as I need to use the Mac to do my college work on

Glad to hear that you had fun LM
We're watching Alan Carr's New Year show.
Happy new year x+y
Happy New Year Mimi. You're feeling the same as me today. I only had one JD & Coke last night. Feel awful today.

It is. I wonder if anyone in college will be doing the Dryathon?

I fancy some Angel Delight
Ahh see I've never liked that stuff for some reason. My brother loves it though.
