It's the only thing really holding my interest now tbh, going for the camos, doing the challenges to get the cards etc. Really want the bouncing betty card as it's similar to the card I had in the original BlOps. Only trouble is, I much prefer claymores so I've hardly used the betties yet.

I love betties! Just get the wildcard with 2 lethals and you should get it next to no time.
Personalization Packs
Like dress-up for your favorite weapons. Each themed pack contains a unique weapon camo, three targeting reticles (one each for the Reflex, EO Tech, and ACOG sights), and a custom player Calling Card. All that stuff comes as a set for 160 MS Points.
One notable example: the Bacon Personalization Pack (!) [image] wraps your favorite weapon in the most delicious cured meat known to man.
Nuketown 2025
Folks have been asking me about the pre-order bonus map’s wide availability for some time now, so here it is – and it’s free, so all players can enjoy it together.
Nuketown Zombies
If you didn’t get Nuketown Zombies as part of the Hardened or Care Package limited editions of the game, now you can get it as a standalone level for 400 MS Points.
Extra Slots Pack
This one’s for the players who requested even more loadouts and/or are fans of Theater Mode. You can now get 10 more Create-a-Class slots (giving you 20 total if you’ve gone all the way up to Prestige Master) and significantly expand your media storage, allowing you to archive 20 more emblems, 32 more films and 40 more screenshots for 160 MS Points.
Flags of the World Calling Card Packs
These packs include national flag-themed Calling Cards from countries around the world. Packs are divided by geographical region and costs 80 MS Points per region pack.
Treyarch's electricity bill must've came in. Time to cough up some money, plebs.
Exactly what i thought. Who needs 20 custom classes, i've got 8 and that's enough. It's seems giving them money for the game and maps is not enough. Ok they give us Nuketown for free and i appreciate that but it does scream of "here's a free lollipop now pull your pants down so i can spank your backside"
I would never pay for extra classes, 10 is more than enough and it isn't hard to clear one out and reuse it, takes no time at all.
Doubtful that I will put cash down on camos either. I do like that Activision aren't pushing game changers with this though, just extras if people are willing to put more cash into this game.
I can see them adding weapons at some point, especially considering the lack of variety in some of them (Sniper rifles, Shotguns), All's they'll do is the same as the Peacekeeper, a good gun for the class, but not the best, and hence not a game-winner.
Camos - not really that bothered about. Cards - only one I'd really want is the Union Jack one. I miss that from MW2.
I really don't know what they've been messing around with for the TU, but the game for us tonight has been absolutely unplayable. We haven't won a single game of DOM in over 3 hours. Constantly seconds behind everyone on the opposition team apparently, getting one-shot dropped for fun, and spam firing the enemy without registering a single hit. Seriously, WTF?!
Micro transactions are fine in free to play games, but when people have paid upwards of £45 for the game and another £25 on map packs, his just smacks of greed. How log before we see Miro transactions for new weapons. Introduce a new sniper rifle or pistol that is the most powerful in its class and people will buy it once they get fed up of being raped by it.
No wonder they cannot fix the connection, they are too busy thinking of ways to screw money out of the customer.
Nothing to do with lag comp but since yesterday's update my whole game has become incredibly sluggish. When you load up and go into MP it takes about 5/6 seconds to connect to 'online services' when ordinarily it goes straight through, then when you're in the music is judders, as does my navigation around the menus. Sadly, this carries through into actual games where I'm at a constant disadvantage as people appear to teleport around the maps. As I said, nothing to do with lag-comp as this is happening across the board, outside of games and in games.
Well done 3arc, somehow you've made my experience even worse. Seriously, I didn't think it was possible.
On the bright side, MW3 seems to be working very well indeed.....

Lag comp has not been touched this latest update, or the last few really. So unsure what problem your encountering. Music juddering sounds like a problem with reading your disk.

That's the way it's been for me since the last ps3 patch. I'm also getting the same hassle with the menus not loading up. Right away you know there's no point in even letting a game load up. I use the Remington from the get go, so i can try a lag test on an enemy with his back to me. I swear, a full one second delay before my bullet registers as a hit.
I stuck on MW3 two nights ago just to test it out. It worked perfectly, i played about four full matches, got a great score in three of them. Not once was there a host migration, and when you check killcams, the enemy is actually FACING you. It was like night and day. It made Black Ops 2 seem like a truly broken mess.

No it wasn't lag comp.
I thought it might have been the disk to begin with too, so I played it from the HD, made no difference.
After that I deleted the title update and redid it. Seems to work better now again so no real idea what the problem was, but it appears to have been something to do with the TU.
Comments
Currently on 48 headshots with the 'first' pistol.
I must say that I enjoy the game more when I tend to go for the gold camo or a specific calling card.

Don't forget scavenger and if you do die with multiple betties out, watch the full kill cam, "afterlife" medals are a giggle.

Good news about the Nuketown maps!!
Mmm … bacon

Not fussed by the rest, unless some of the camo's are really spectacular...
Which is probably unlikely.
The SMR took forever for me. Didn't find the FAL too bad. Going through the SMGs now, and the Chicom is making me cry.
Bacon camo? Really? WTF next?!
But dosh for extra classes? BS. It is just a limit number change. OK so that has to be edited by someone and then QA'd but even so...
At least they're keeping these add-ons non-gameplay items.

How long before you drop into games in your birthday suit and an empty gun - press x to purchase a uniform and ammunition.......Yikes!
Pretty, lol.
