Satnav - TomTom ONE

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section.
We're just looking at buying a Satnav at last... but are complete newbies. We have heard good things about TomTom ONE and it's on sale right now. Prob is there seems to be v3 and v4 ... can anyone tell us what difference there is in practice between the two? Or can anyone recommend a good priced SatNav that really does the job?

Gladly. Here it is. We got a ONE v4 Traffic today for 99 quid and so far are really pleased with it. Only prob is OH and I can't agree on whether to go for the male or female UK voice!
