Really?! She is a laughably bad actress. Liked how the bloke looks a bit like Dave Glover would now, though! :D

She is great, and the guy really reminds me of David Morrissey. :)

Is that her in the middle of that pic?

I like DS Shields, she would make a great addition to ED, and they haven't got a copper. She'd make a perfect choice.

As much as she liked to play the hard nosed detective, really loved the way on Thursday night that on running down the street when Debbie called for help she just really couldnt get her arm through her body warmer as much as she tried, and oh how she tried
Just had to rewind to watch it again. Bless. :D

I thought she was hilariously dramatic tonight.:D She appeared on the verge of tears when Cameron confessed to killing Alex! They should definitely have her as the shows recurring big gun copper similar to Marsden in EE.

I think she's good, so she's not the best actress ever who cares, she has a great presence.

I grew to really like her too. Bring her back Emmerdale! So much characterisation for a short-term character!!

    Possible partners:

    - Ashley - could soften her character a bit, he might be too drippy for her

    - Steve - evil Steve and his detective girlfriend living in Home Farm?

    - Ruby - You never know

    - Vanessa - rebound from Rhona

    - Declan - he needs someone tough

    - Cain - it's been done before, but bad boy Cain suits being with a police officer

    - existing partner and kids - she buys one of Declan's houses and moves the clan in, which possibly includes her equestrian husband who re-opens the stables at home farm

If nothing else, keep her as the token police officer for all crimes. Lets face it, in Emmerdale that could mean she'd be there every week!

The way she was looking over Cain last night, I'd say she wouldn't at all mind being paired up with him:D

She seems like a pretty decent actress. She'd be pretty good if she was given more to do.

Agree with part of your post, yes she'd make a good addition, but the actress needs to brush up on her acting skills IMO. And yes it would be good to have a copper, to replace Donna, the only copper in the village.:)

Do you think they're where her powers to arrest and interrogate with such determination come from?:D:D;)

I can't make up my mind about her, in all seriousness. She was quite funny in the scenes with Declan, and acted like she was deliberately camping it up. She was terrible during the siege, but then last night when she was speaking to Debbie, she toned it down a bit, and I really believed that she felt some sympathy and concern. Maybe it's the action/high drama stuff that she can't do.
