Ah well I'm in no position to disagree with you Jazzy as I would be lieing if I said I had any real knowledge on John Smith. Though didn't he pass the "new labour" torch onto Tony Blair? Bit before my time so I could well be wrong.

John Smith carried on the quiet reform of the Labour party that Neil Kinnock had started. It was only Blair and Mandelson who really turned the volume up and made big statements about the change within the party and coined the term 'New Labour'.

Harriet Harman, she seems like a very articulate and capable politician (from the Labour bunch anyway). She did very well in PMQs.

David Milliband is too ugly for my liking, lol

No way as a labour party member i will never vote for harriet harperson, she is far, far too pc for my liking.

BTW As a Tory I want Brown to stay.

I'm the same but I'm also not too worried about them forcing him out. Whoever they pick, even if they magic up a clone of their most electable leader ever known, they still don't have the time to turn it around before the next GE.

Even if they did, the economy will continue to work against them.

    The gig is up.
