What does that mean, our Yougov poll. Is it a Sun poll or a Yougov poll.
1219 viewers. Like I thought, worthless.
eta - but yes, thankyou for the link
Its not worthless. The percentages last year were near enough exact and they were predicting a JA win when most people were confident enough in the Star leaks that CM would win. Its very precise.

As a piece of scientific research this poll is worthless.
Doesn't mean it's wrong.

People and organisations commisson polls from Yougov (e.g. TV programmes, newspapers, magazines, companies). In this case, the Sun commissioned the poll. However, the poill will have been independantly conducted by Yougov.
The accuracy of the poll will depend on the number of people polled and the demographic. It looks plausible in terms of order, but if under 18s were also polled, I suspect that the % for both Luke and Nick would be a bit higher.

It's not worthless at all. It's consistently the most accurate poll (for reasons I don't know) and has got it spot on each year.

I'm no expert by any means, but if you want some more information about how the poll is conducted, look at these links:

Well at least they know what the issues are:p
I really hope this is correct!
Most of the time they're right but in 2011 I think they predicted that Marcus would edge out Little Mix.
But they did add:
"It's too close to call, but if I was forced to predict. I would predict Marcus"
Then on the night Little Mix were better, and it was still close!
And Marcus got absolutely shafted with atrocious song choices.
Well Yougov should have allowed for this variable
