Lenses for Canon 450/500D

Hello All!

Am looking to purchase either the Canon 450D or 500D Digital SLR camera and have 2 questions if someone could possibly help?

1. Which one of the 2 cameras is better?

2. I would probably look to get 2 lenses for the camera. Which 2 should I go for?

for the lens question it would entirely depend on your requirments, ie: what type of photography are u trying to do

Thanks for the reply.

I will be taking photo's of people and places (regular portrait and landscape pictures) but also using the camera for taking photos of theatre productions for my local ameteur theatre group.

I have the 500d, great bit of kit linked up to a sigma 28 - 300 lens, this is great for both close up and long distance, the camera also has a hell of an iso range.
