Came across this recently.

A blatant misuse of certification marking by Chinese companies to get around EU rules.

Check what you are buying, it may not be what it seems.

    Our company imports from all over the world and we have been working on lots of HSE items over the last few years most of which require CE certification.

    So we've seen this for several years, and the EU has done nothing about it.

    We found when we CE marked our properly certified products, we actually used the wrong one.

    Is someone suggesting there's some gross inefficiency in the Grand State of the EU..surly not
