Yup, 3 million is a fantastic number, especially given the amount of bad press surrounding the console before launch.
I expect the ps4 to outsell the X1 in the long run due to many factors such as Microsoft never doing well in Japan and parts of Europe and the Sony console having the lower price but i still think they'll sell well this year.
In the end games sell consoles and i know many people bought the 360/ps3 just for call of duty 4. So it'll be interesting to see how sales are effected when the next big game comes out such as Uncharted,Titanfall,call of duty next gen or the next new big thing.

If the hype around Titanfall is to be believed i can see this being a system seller regardless if its on PC and 360.
Also out in March is Garden Warfare, can see March being a good sales month for MS
