Hi,
Is anyone else having the problem with Samsung's 'Security Policy Update'?
It keeps popping up on my phone asking me to 'Confirm' or 'Cancel' for the new security policy. However, when I click 'Confirm', it then states that there are network problems and that it's unable to complete my request.
Is anyone else having this same problem? There seems to be a lot of people experiencing this through message boards, but no one seems to have a clue what to do!

Lots of reports of it causing issues with What's App and others if you do apply the security update. The problem is it will keep nagging until you do, with no option to say "no I don't want it". It is an issue if you want a rooted device, which personally I don't.
On looking at it, and I'm in no way paranoid, but is it legit? The grammar is effing shocking for a start, which doesn't look professional at all.
When you click on the security policy update notification a box opens up with "App Info"click on that then click "Force Stop" It will return on reboot though!
Security Policy update failed when accepting, but since found out it is to do with samsungs new knox security
if you like tinkering with your phone / rooting etc, I suggest you do not download

Can you still flash your phone using Odin with KNOX?

This is where Samsung really let themselves down, send an update to millions of phones out of the blue that then doesn't work and keeps nagging, cause users to worry it's malicious and cause networks extra support costs and hassle.
Samsung you really are rubbish and let yourselves down sometimes.

Samsung KNOX incorporates key technologies patented by the National Security Agency (NSA)
and
Security-Enhanced Linux (SE Linux) is a technology invented by the NSA in 2000 and has long been established as the standard for securing enterprise Linux assets. Samsung R&D teams have worked very closely with the NSA to port and integrate this technology into Android. This port of SE Linux to Android is commonly referred to as Security Enhancements for Android, or “SE for Android”.
It seems Samsung are colluding with the NSA to deploy back doors in all of Samsung's devices.
Furthermore, can we continue to trust all the Linux enterprise servers out there that are running a suite of NSA 'enhancements' ?
Having a NSA rubber stamp means All Your Base Are Belong To Us

Apps still seem to be getting stopped by this though!
