What about bluray sets will they be coming too?
They have the show in HD already as some channels air it in HD already
Early seasons (possibly the entire show) is NOT HD. When the US went to widescreen most shows went HD as well, the majority of MITM is only 4:3 so will not be HD. Later seasons were 16:9 so may be HD, but I wouldn't hold of Blu Ray release of these.
Unless of course they've decided to re-edit the entire series from it's original film, but since Fox aren't even releasing it I doubt they've bothered...
REALLY looking forward to this, hope they don't postpone it again like they did in May/June this time.
Nope, it's definitely released this Monday. My copy has already shipped.
Roll on Season 2! I'm not too optimistic but they say they will be releasing the following series monthly. There's no date for Season 2 yet though, so those monthly releases could be a long time coming.

Which website did you get yours from? Still hasn't shipped from HMV. I should learn, really. They couldnt find their arse with BOTH hands.
NM, cancelled my order with them and reordered with Sainsburys Entertainment for £3 cheaper. Thnx for the info.
Every other new release from next week has shipped from HMV except this one, so screw 'em.

If they keep that date, I will be very impressed. I am looking forward to another season of this show. I've only watched two Season 1 episodes so far, so I better get watching! I knew this was a good show but the pilot really was something special.
They're cutting it close, the BBFC haven't even classified MITM S2 according to their search function (though it can take a while for info to go through)
I was a huge fan of Malcolm back in my teens and I'm thrilled it's finally coming to DVD. Only just found out they've been releasing them since September last year. The dilemma I'm facing now is whether to hold off for a boxset (if they're releasing one) or just start buying the seasons!
I love this show! So well written, and aside from a small lull in the middle, I feel it started and ended brilliantly and felt the same throughout, without getting tired.
Couldn't say I have a favourite character, but Jane Kaczmarek is an absolutely fantastic actress... she could go from terrifying in one scene, but then I cared about her character of Lois as well. Bryan Cranston rocked his role as Hal as well In fact the only character I didn't like was Stevie - even his parents were awesome, but Stevie himself annoyed the hell out of me
Glad to see the DVD releases, though they're so steep I'm hoping for a box-set release of all seven seasons It would be nice, given how long we've had to wait for these

Sainsbury's Entertainment are pretty good. I had a pre-order with them a few weeks back and they shipped that on Wednesday too.
Season 2 is now up for pre-order, being released on October 29th!

They're almost finished!
I have seen this show on a channel 5 programme and it is wacky but good, not fond of the dad though!
Yes, same person. Bryan Cranston...
yaaay, hopefully they bring out a complete 1-7 box set in the summer

It's a widely respected and critically acclaimed performance. I've only seen the first three episodes, but from what I've seen it's quite good...
this is out a week later now, 3rd June. hope they announce 7th + complete 1-7 soon
