Eh? Why would it be bad luck?

My (2) trees have been up since first weekend in November!

Depends what you put it up.

I recommend that you don't put it up yourself.

Not bad luck, a bit mental and ridiculously early, but not bad luck.

I've not put and other decs up, will do those next weekend. Tree had to go up when it did then, and obviously I had my Christmas album playing and enjoyed a mince pie too!

Do you really believe in good luck/ bad luck?

    With Crimbo trees?

I don't care when people want to put them up, but those that light up their houses for show before Dec are tacky. (Tacky and made of money). ;)

My Auntie has her tree up already. I am though a firm believer that all thoughts of Christmas should be put on hold until December.

    Not bad luck.

I'll put my Christmassy things out on Advent Sunday, i.e. the following weekend.

    Really? :D

Anyway, I never heard of it being bad luck to put up the decorations early. If you want to, go for it.

Is it bad luck for all the shops that do it? No, it's just a bit naff.

Good luck / bad luck seems like a bizarre question.

Some people would happily have Christmas all year long and re quick to shove up outside lights, trees etc etc.

I am a "bah humbug" by nature - but once the Christmas aisles start appearing in shops - it seems like it is open season. I hope you love your trees and I am awaiting the ghosts of Christmas past.
