Fluid Viewing not working - Connectivity Issue in MyQ section of Planner

Ive looked into this over on the sky community forums and the solution to this issue is:

You have to press record on the program you want to use fluid viewing on then pause it, it will then show in the MyQ section on the planner and you will be able to watch it on your sky q minis or tablets. It doesn't work just by pressing pause on a live program and expecting to be able to continue watching it on your minis/tablets.

    if you are getting a connection error it might be software related. I saw it today
    Try going to the status page in settings and software version. click on this and set a software update going. see if that cures it
