Any ideas to who will win it on Sunday? Oxford last year but the water might be choppy tomorrow and wonder who will cope the best in water like this.

I'm tempted for Camebridge but will Oxford win again?

I know, it's worse than Scottish football.

Could be tricky, they have Middlesex

ok the toss didn't go their way but hopefully the conditions this year considering the floods and tide speeds etc will favour the Middlesex side.

I find it a bit embarrassing that it gets so much media attention.

Apart from shouting, "Go for it lads!" what actually does a cox DO?

Only the BBC could make such a naffin' song and dance about the boat race. We've had constant "rabbit" from just about everyone for ages.

The contestants aren't even the fastest crews on the river.

Didn't ITV have it for several years?

You're right. After all, only about 250,000 people watch it from the riverside and about 7 million on TV. ;-)

The coverage is completely drawn out. Skelton as annoying as usual.

I wasn't watching the screen, I was reading a paper, I hear a voice and said to myself "What's Sue Pollard doing there?"

Actually she wasn't, it was some bimbo with a microphone, called Helen Skelton.

The overstuffed padding by the BBC is like watching an extended version of the One Show.
