I think Foulds stood in for Stephen Hendry for a couple of days during the 2013 tournament. I'm surprised he hasn't come in for Ken Doherty this weekend.

I think the BBC are saving a bit of money, as Willie Thorne doesn't commentate on the one-table stages now, just as he doesn't do The Masters either. The same thing happened to Clive Everton a few years ago, but Willie hasn't whinged about his downgrading in print.

I agree that it is good to see more consistent live coverage of the tournament.

The standard seems shocking though compared to previous eras

How many will know is only on the BBC Sport website this evening. I did not even know it was on the BBC Sport website this evening.
Its good to see both the BBC and Eurosport have been covering it and both in HD. I manly get my channels via Youview and BT. I also got a Samsung 22 inch full HD Freeview smart TV in my bedroom. I have been watching some of the snooker it but not it all.
I looked up Total TV Guide mag and Snooker is the now on Eurosport 2 and in HD. Not that im watching it the now as im listening in to a country music show via the TuneIn radio app.
I know some cant get Eurosport.

Odd that Eurosport are using the BBC feed including the graphics.

The've just had the stats up complete with the BBC Sport logo and URL.

I was not at all happy that there was no red button coverage at all of either match this evening until 9pm. I thought Barry Hearn had sorted that out after the BBC cocked up with the Ronnie match that was ditched just before the last frame, in favour of a repeat of Some Mothers Do Ave Em(!)

Is Antiques Roadshow "Playalong" really that important over live sport? No. Even if it was a sport I didn't care about, that should still take precedence over what is basically an app!

Like yesterday evening. I used like to play along with in it to win it via the red button but it seems I can no longer do that.

I do feel in this multi channel age it's easier just to watch Eurosport rather than press red buttons etc.

For a few years now I have watched a lot mire coverage on eurosport
