Where would you prefer to live

Being a lover of the south coast of England, that would be my ideal location to move to if I won some money. The area that would be first on my list would be Devon, I think it's quite beautiful. I love to sit and watch the world go by and although a pretty view would be nice, as long as you seen a bit of life, it would be perfect.
I don't think I would like to be in a solitary location.
I would find a property preferably in a village with a nice country pub, a little shop for daily necessities which would be ideal for our needs. I do like the idea of being part of village life.
I love watching the tv programme, a place in the country where I dream away.
What would your choice be? It can be in this country or abroad.

    First choice - Manhattan.

Second choice - where I am now.

    Same place, bigger house.

I do harbour a desire to open a ye olde fashioned English pub in Beppu, Japan if all my ships came in.

Retire to the Swiss Alps but only in the Valais naturally and the sunny side of the valley.

Wouldn't you miss the sunshine and warm weather?

If you're looking for a remote place with a decent climate, how about here?

If I didn't have to work, if I was retiring or something, probably somewhere remote up north - somewhere with a lovely view. There are some lovely views up north in the Highlands and I like being around nature, somewhere quiet and relaxing. Somewhere that might inspire me to write more.

London. I live there now and will die there one day.

Other places I'd be happy would be Amsterdam and by the sea in Cornwall.

I live on the South Coast at the minute. It's alright here. I suppose I wouldn't mind moving closer into Brighton. Abroad, New York or Dublin because I have family there.

By the coast near where I live (Northumberland). Maybe Alnwick. I love the Northumbrian coastline, it's so dramatic!
